Trump doubts the media will cover the 'really great numbers on jobs & the economy'

President Trump touted the "great numbers on jobs & the economy" in a pair of tweets on Monday afternoon, but doubted the media would cover the news.

"Really great numbers on jobs & the economy! Things are starting to kick in now, and we have just begun! Don't like steel & aluminum dumping!" his first tweet said.

His second tweet read, "Dow hit a new intraday all-time high! I wonder whether or not the Fake News Media will so report?"

From February to May, 594,000 net new jobs were created in the U.S., according to Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics.

CNBC reports that Dow Jones jumped 130 points on Monday, closing at 21,479.27.
